Top Frequently Ask Questions

WHAT IS UF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT?

Professional Development was founded to extend University of Florida's world-class resources to non-traditional students, alumni, working professionals, and the general public. The majority of programs are self-paced, fully online, allowing working professionals to connect with a top-ranked university from anywhere, at any time. You can choose to advance your knowledge through the following three types of programs:

  • Pre-Certification: Prepare to sit for a certifying exam (ie. PMP, CDM, CFPP).
  • Pre-Licensure: Earn the professional credential of the industry.
  • Continuing Education: Enhance your current skills and knowledge in a particular field or maintain a certain level of proficiency.
WHEN CAN I ENROLL?

Professional Development has an open enrollment policy that allows you to register at any time. The majority of programs are self-paced, allowing you to start the day you complete registration. If a program has a start date it will be provided in the course description.

COURSE REFUND POLICY

We reserve the right to modify or cancel a course or event when circumstances warrant, including insufficient registrations.
